Issue with Custom options Magento 2 - import options

I'm hoping someone can help with importing options so we can start using existing simple products as custom options so that we can use the different group prices. In the past we have always manually added on the custom options rather than import but this means it takes longer to do price updates as well.

I noticed on Magento 2 we can import options however when I click on import it only shows 738 records found when we have much more products than this. Please can someone tell me where I am going wrong?

You need to click on import link and select products which you want  to add as custom options. 
Please find attached images and let me know if are facing issue again.

Thank you for your reply but the products I need to add on are not listed.
Only 738 product come up when we have 1000 more products not showing.

So I can not add the option as its not on the product list
