Persistent Shopping Cart - Can't Disable

Hi all

I'm trying to change the settings for the 'Persistent Shopping Cart' in Admin.

Each time I change the Enable "Remember Me" and "Remember Me" Default Value to NO and Save Config, it just reverts back to Yes

Any idea what's causing this please?

to be honest I spent like 2 weeks having an error with it enabled because it was conflicting with my payment and one step checkout page extensions.

disable it

in command line:

setup upgrade

content deploy -f

reindex

flush cache

if that does not work:

disable it in the database

let me know if these methods worked?

Well that's the problem, I can disable it.

Every time I select No for enable, it reverts back to Yes :-)
