Hi All, I'm using: 2.4.6-p3. I want to add a discount whereby a customer spends over £40 they automatically get a £4 discount. If they spend over £80 they get £9 off, Spend over £100 get £15 off, Spend over £200 get £31 off.
All these are added automatically at the checkout. Any ideas??
You will need to create 4 different shopping cart price rules.
Under conditions, for each of those rules set Subtotal equals or greater than 40 for the first rule, 80 for the second rule and so on.
Under actions set Apply > Fixed Amount Discount > 4 for the first rule, 9 for the second rule and so on.
Under priorities, se the highest rule (£200 get £31) to have the highest priority (e.g. priority 0), then for the £100 get £15 rule set priority 1 and so on.
Set discard subsequent rules to yes on all those rules.
Still not working I'm afraid. I have done that but to no avail. I did just the £40 discount but I'm sure when you click in the conditions box it used to allow you to choose the greater than or equals to but I manually had to type in on this occasion which doesn't seem right.
You should not be manually typing that in, you need to have a dropdown with those options, there must be something broken for you over there if it allows you to manually type that in.
Oh.... I figured out what you did wrong. You put in the text into the value field on the right. You didn't notice you can click on "is".
Go back to that rule and click on the word "is". That will launch your dropdown. And the value on the right, just put in the number, no words or letters.
