Update product image

Hi there,

I'm facing a problem in updating product image.

When I try to delete the image I got the following error and the old image still appear :

The image cannot be removed as it has been assigned to the other image role

Could you please help.

Such an issue occurs when the images are assigned to other store views.

So first, you need to remove it from store views.

Yes when I update the image, I choose all stores view.

Remove image after changing the store view from the top and removing image role such as small, medium...

This issue happend to a lot of our clients and it is just super annoying to search and fix it manually.

To solve this issue we created a small module. It allows to sync the image roles based on the "all storeview" Settings. If this occurse you just need to click the "sync image" button, save the product and it is solved.
