User Role not able to access menu/sections

I'm running Magento 2.1.13 (don't tell me to upgrade, that's not an option at this time)

I've created a new user and given them a user role of "Sales", and have limited the access control to the Dashboard, Sales, and Customer tree.

But when I try to access the admin with that user, the menu looks correct, but none of the items work. Nor does the user dropdown (to sign-out) or to change store view.
If I give the user all permissions, everything works fine. 
 

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the issue? Possibly not selecting a specific option on the tree?

Looks like confliction with other third-party modules.

Because i have checked the same on 2.1.13 version and from my end its working well.

Also for Dashboard permission we don't have any sub-child access option - meaning from the permissions specifically for Dashboard you have given complete access to that user right ?

if yes then may be you need to debug more by disabling third-party extensions which is more bounded to sales and customer.

that's way you will get exact idea to resolve this issue.
