product page image change change depending on variation taking a long time

hi

I have a site called zoiha.com

after i clear the cache it takes a really long time for the images to reload onto the site, and when you change the variation colour of the product it takes a very long time again

it takes soo long that if i was a user I'd probably close the page

i have dedicate server with 

CPU(s) 2 RAM / Memory Size 4096 MB SSD Disk Size 60 GB

using litemage cache

i have potato commerce cache warmer

and i feel like this problem got worse since we activated the CDN

i feel like after you clear the cache on both the magento 2 site and the cdn

the site has to generate the cache, then the cdn pull it, then its fed to the user.

But it takes tooo long, does anyone have a solution to this

Hello @Umair 

Once you clear cache it will take time to generate cache again so please create a script to run pre warm cache after cache clear otherwise it will take time or you can ask potato commerce cache warmer also they should have a solution for this.

I feel like the ajax request for loading the images is whats causing the issue maybe, is this a common problem?

is there a solution for this?

Yeah sometimes Ajax load also take times, so to improve speed you can optimize code.
