Dynamic Tier Pricing for Configurable Products

A really nice feature with 1.9 that is sorely lacking in 2 is the ability for tier pricing to dynamically change based on a configurable product's attributes. For example a configurable product that has a few color options, each of them have their own tier pricing structure. The tier pricing would dynamically change on the frontend based on what color swatch the user clicks on (works in Magento 1.9 - see screenshots).

Any plan to add this function or is there a way to program the dynamic tier pricing? Running Magento 2.0.6.
