Images coming from external source issue: Imported resource (image) could not be downloaded

Hi There,

I tried creating an import and everything seems to work fine. But when I included images, it was giving an error:

Imported resource (image) could not be downloaded from external resource due to timeout or access permissions

How do I import images that are coming from an external source?

@mills_devDo you have folder "pub/media/import" in you Magento root directory? If there is no import folder then please create one and give the 777 permission to it.

In the import setting set the path image file directory as pub/media/import and try if thing works for you.
