Composer Vendor magento directory is empty

Hi,

does anyone have an idea why this directory is empty in M2 2.4.3:

/vendor/magento

The contents are only:

  • composer
  • magento-coding-standard
  • magento-composer-installer
  • magento2-functional-testing-framework
  • zendframework1

Here i am missing "some" more directories...

 

I tried but nothing at all:

composer update

It seems like Magento is not properly extracted.

You can download and extract the Magento from https://magento.com/tech-resources/download

Could it be, that Magento was installed with git and not with composer?

Because all the folders are under: /app/code/Magento
