Magento 2 configurable product with huge amount of associative products

Hi,

We are trying to create configurable product in magento 2.

After selecting different configuration options it creates 200 associative products.

When we try to save it with out image upload then it takes more than 20 minutes.

If we try to upload with image then sometime it takes more than 2 hours and some time website goes to unresponsive mode.

Can you please someone suggest about how this issue can be resolve.

200 products is a big number but it partially depends on your server performance as well. Given that you have 200 products so best is to use the CSV import feature of Magento.
