Newsletter subscribe confirm not sending

Hello,
I have a problem with magento 2.1.7, every time a guest user subscribe to the newsletter he doesn't receive confirmation email.
I have already check on configuration-->costumer-->newsletter;
configuration-->advanced-->advanced
and check the cron job.

I don't have any idea because the mail is not sending to users who subscribe on newsletter, the confirm order email is sending, so the server configuration is OK.

Anyone have some idea, tips?
How can I fix this thing?

Maybe you forgot to setup the cron for the site?

Try to check if you are use a 3ed party extension, I had the same issue and it was MailChimp extension

Go to the MailChimp Configuration and change this to "Yes"

"Magento always manage emails" = "Yes"
