Non-existent URL Redirects to Search Query

Non-existent URL Redirects to Search Query

Hi all. I'm having an issue that I need some help with.

If I enter a non-existent URL into a browser, such as /bogus-page, our system brings you to a /catalogsearch/result/?q=boguspage search results page instead of a 404 page. We would prefer to return a 404 so that Google knows it is not a valid URL, but I can't seem to find where to modify this behavior.

We are running Magento Commerce 2.3.3 at the moment, and have the Elasticsuite extension from Smile installed. I suspect this is what is triggering this behavior, but I can't determine if that's the case, or if it is some other Magento setting. Any help pointing us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

It turns out it was not Elasticsuite that was triggering this behavior, but an Amasty extension call SEO Toolkit, In case anyone else ever encounters this issue.
