PayPay Checkout Button - Slow to load

Hi all...

Just recently, I've noticed that the PayPal checkout button take an age to load.

I have it on my product pages but have had to disable it because it was simply taking way to long to load which affected the page load time.

Anyone else experienced this problem and is there a fix?

ok I found a solution:

I simply changed the 'button flavor' to static from dynamic.

This now loads fine and doesn't rely on the dynamic version to load.

May help someone else.
