Specify Grid or List view for each category

I am looking for a way to individually set the default view for each category.

Eg  Category 'Top' should be Grid and Category 'Bottoms' should be list view.

In M1 I used an extension named 'DefaultCatView'

Is anything like this available for Magento v2.4? If not is there a way of doing this programatically?
