Hello everyone,
Everything was going well with the Magento 2.1.0 development.
I started with Centos 6.7 and then upgraded to 6.8 for Magento 2.1.0.
I made a mistake of entering chmod -R 777 /var on the SSH terminal and ever since then I have been getting. This /var is from root, not magento2/var.

#46 {main}";s:3:"url";s:1:"/";s:11:"script_name";s:10:"/index.php";} I have reset the /var folder to 755, then set magento2, magento2/var, magento2/pub to 777 and then magento2/pub to 755, but I am still receiving permission errors.
What can I do to revert back to the original Centos 6.8 directory/file permission settings so that I can retrieve the site I am working on? I've tried reindexing, flushing the cache and even resetting all the folders and files permissions to what it should be (I have another server with a replicated environment).
It seems like it's a simple permission setting but I can't figure it out for the life of me.
