magento 2 import product using excel failed with empty row

When I try to import the product by a csv using a excel, below error is displayed:

Data validation failed. Please fix the following errors and upload the file again.

Following Error(s) has been occurred during importing process:

1. Product Type is invalid or not supported in row(s): 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21

Checked rows: 21, checked entities: 21, invalid rows: 18, total errors: 18

But only 3 rows I have used to input product information.

Please remove the extra fields and then try to re-save file with UTF-8 encoding and import again. I hope this will solves your problem.

Please try re-save the file in UTF-8 encoding and then import again. Also make sure that your columns are structured according to Magento 2 import requirements

Its work when I copy the first 3 rows to a new excel and import.

But if I enter some word in other rows and then delete it in excel,

the error will display again.

This because in excel to csv conversion csv create that an new empty row that's why you het the error so remove that empty row in excel and save again.

Because it it treating that as a new row and there coulumn value as "" (empty string) which does not pass the magento validation for product. If my answer helps you then please accept it as solution and give kudos. Regards.

How to remove the empty rows in excel,
