Re: slow performance, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility problems with extensions

Hello @desertsafa5cbb ,

I've seen a lot of mixed feedback around Magento 2 performance over the years. But based on my long-term experience working with Magento 1, Magento 2, Adobe Commerce, and PWA Studio, I can confidently say:

If best practices are followed from the start - especially when it comes to custom module development, theme implementation, and server configuration then performance issues are rare.

Magento’s architecture is powerful and flexible, but that also means it demands clean, optimized code and a solid infrastructure setup.

These days, headless architecture is becoming a game-changer. With Magento’s robust GraphQL support, you can build high-performing storefronts using:

  • Vue.js
  • React
  • PWA Studio

This approach decouples the frontend and gives full control over performance, user experience, and scalability, all while leveraging Magento's powerful backend capabilities.

So yes, Magento 2 has its learning curve, but when done right, it scales beautifully and performs reliably.

You can also refer to the latest product release information directly from Adobe Commerce here

Re: slow performance, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility problems with extensions

Can someone suggest migrating my following websites to Magento, Our websites are related to tourism and selling tours

Those websites sell tours to travelers worldwide, is Magento a good option for a tourism website?

To strengthen your store’s security, check this article https://magefan.com/blog/magento-security-scan-tool It covers best practices to help make your store’s data safe.

Regarding slow loading, you may use Google Page Speed Insights https://pagespeed.web.dev/

It will show you the areas that need optimization. Then it will be easier to find the best solution.
