Hi. Against the recommended advice, as I was learning, I recommended the standard Magento 2.2.6 code and the code in an installed module. Now, I need to upgrade to M2.2.8 and I'm worried about the modification I've made.
What do I need to do so I can upgrade? I'm thinking I need to create my own custom module with my modifications but I'm unsure and could use some guidance. I'm also concerned about how to handle the customizations I made to the third-party module (WeltPixel QuickView). The list of files I've modified are below. Can someone direct me on what steps to take to upgrade to M2.2.8 while keep my modifications in a maintainable, sustainable way? Thank you.
There are only 3 files modified from original. Most changes are only 1-2 lines of code.
