Question About Upgrade Process

Hi,

I have a question as to what is the best process to prepare to update to the newest Magento version. From what I’ve heard typically you update all your extensions first to the latest version AND THEN update to latest version of Magento.

Is this typically the best way to do it?

@dorzech7  Yes. You must upgrade all the extension or make sure all the extension supports the latest version of Magento if you decide to update extension later. With the different version of Magento many extension does not support the different version.

It is a lot of pain to find out that  extension does not support latest version and your Magento has issues due to the incompatible extension version.
