Upgrading 2.1 issue

I need help please upgrading my 2.1 version

Its a fresh clean installation.

Here are some specs

• PHP 5.6
• MySQL 5.6
• cPanel v58 with EasyApache4 on Centos 6.8

My Cron Jobs are every minute

/usr/local/bin/php /home/forensica/public_html/magento/mage2/bin/magento cron:run | grep -v "Ran jobs by schedule" >> /home/forensica/public_html/magento/mage2/var/log/magento.cron.log

/usr/local/bin/php /home/forensica/public_html/magento/mage2/update/cron.php >> /home/forensica/public_html/magento/mage2/var/log/update.cron.log

/usr/local/bin/php /home/forensica/public_html/magento/mage2/bin/magento setup:cron:run >> /home/forensica/public_html/magento/mage2/var/log/setup.cron.log

The error:

• We cannot retrieve information on magento/product-community-edition.

PD: Honestly i dont know what i am doing wrong, it supposed to tell me it is the latest version but it aint. A day ago i tested upgrading 2.0.9 to 2.1 and it upgraded (with errors but upgraded), now nothing it seems so erratic, could somebody guide me or point me in the right direction?

Whats going on in the var/log files. ie nginx log file and perhaps php log file

it seems to be not simple. You should clear data, reinstall and check the result, If it happens errors again, contact Magento 2.0 experts or Magento update version.
