Update your Magento installation to the latest and greatest version 2.3 for Open Source and Commerce! Along with a slew of new features version 2.3 includes many improvements to help ensure your Magento storefront is humming like a well-oiled machine.
The scoop
Some external library versions require an update before an upgrade can occur, so there are a few more upgrade steps than previously. Don’t worry! We created a helper script to simplify the work and make the whole process easy-peasy.
For full details, we have a complete guide for your Command-line upgrade.
You have two options for your upgrade:
- Upgrade using the script section for instructions on using the helper script to quickly upgrade your installation.
- Upgrade using the command line section for instructions on using the command line to manually upgrade your installation.
Don’t forget to start with the Prerequisites section before proceeding with either method!
