Magento forums question : how to upload image to profile?

Hi guys,

i'm trying to upload an image (logo) to this forum profile but it does not upload anything. Looks like it's waiting for me to select an album but there are no albums and no way to create one. is it a bug or I'm missing something: http://take.ms/0vVso ?

Hi Finestshops,

I noticed the same with larger images (>3.5MB). However, after resizing and uploading again it went through without any issues.

Your image will still need to be approved before it can be used as an Avatar, do keep that in mind.

do you see any Albums in your profile?

i think the problem is with that system trying to add image to an album which is not there and no way to add it.

Yes, it created an album after upload. The image is currently awaiting approval. Did you try a different image to see if maybe it's just the image you are uploading? It all seems to work fine for me.

i tried in FireFox and it works there. looks like a problem with compatibility with Chrome.

It is the issue with the Browser compatibility. Some browser can not be compatible with these things. So make sure to trying to upload the image with different browser help.
