Where should one go for Magento Support?

After migrating from stackoverflow.com/tags/magento and the old community forum at magento.com, it seems that we are now left with two separate and capable forums for Magento support:

http://community.magento.com/t5/Programming-Questions/bd-p/devqa

My questions are:
Which forum should be in primary use?
Is there any advantage of one forum over the other?
Are certain types of questions better suited on either forum?
Is there a different visitor persona on either forum or are they similar?
How about engagement levels?

Also if anyone could compile a list of awesome Magento support resources delineated by user experience and role that could be super helpful.

Great question. The quickest answer is: whichever works best for you.

1. Which forum should be in primary use? Again, whichever format works best for you is fine with us.
2. Is there any advantage of one forum over the other? StackExchange has a very specific process to go through for asking/answering questions which creates a bit of a different environment. Some developers are used to this and it works great for them, some are not and would be more comfortable here. It's truly more of a personal preference.
3. Are certain types of questions better suited on either forum? Not necessarily, though any non-technical questions should happen here vs on StackExchange as StackExchange is specifically technical. Here we also have the ability for you to showcase your site or just have a general discussion where you really aren't seeking an answer.
4. Is there a different visitor persona on either forum or are they similar? StackExchange tends to be a higher concentration of technical devs focused on customization moreso than troubleshooting. You won't see "How do I install Magento?" as much there, for example.
5. How about engagement levels? Engagement levels now are pretty similar.
