We have a large list of New Products that need to be added to our store every week. Instead of hand creating each product which takes many hours every week, is there a way to set them all up in a spreadsheet and import them into our store? They are Simple Products, no special "configuration". Just looking for a faster way to add a large amount of new items to our store every week.
Thank you!
Yes, you can set up an automated import task from excel or whatever fomat you need with Store Manager, and you can test how it works with a free trial (the interface is a bit different now than on the screenshots but the functionality is the same)
That's why you can also set up the new setup of it, it will be work sometime it face some error but these are fixable things. I think you can change the password of your email, then try it maybe work. For more details check bbnerd it provide you complete details.
Hello @alexander_frost
Try to use the default Magento's import functionality, download the sample file and add your product into that file, and then try to import that file, within seconds it will complete the import process.
Most platforms let you download a sample file (usually a CSV), and you just fill it in with your product info, then upload it back.
If your platform doesn’t have a sample file, here’s a trick: export a few of your current products as a CSV and use that as your template. Just copy the format, add your new products, and you’re good to go.
When I first started doing this, I found some great tips on excel.tv for keeping everything organized and avoiding import errors.
