The best part of attending events is meeting new people in the Magento community. So now's your chance to introduce yourselves before we even arrive!
I'll start:
In case you don't know me, I'm Sherrie and I'm the Community Manager here at Magento.
Imagine is my all-time favorite event because in 2011 it was my first opportunity to meet face to face with the friends I'd made online in the Magento Community. This will be my sixth Imagine, I've also been to MagentoLive UK, MagentoLive France, MagentoLive Australia and several community organized events including Meet Magento NY, Meet Magento Spain, Meet Magento Germany, Meet Magento Netherlands, Meet Magento Argentina, MageTitans Italy, MageTitans Austin, MageUnconference NL and Meet Magento Poland.
When I'm not hanging out here you can usually find me hiking or wandering around the beach with friends.
Can't wait to see you at Imagine this year - please be sure to find me and say hi!
We specialize in Magento custom development and integrations, covering everything from front-end to back-end. Currently 100% focused in Magento 2.
Hi Everyone!
I'll start with a tip for the less tech savvy people like me: hit the orange " join group" button on the top right of the page and then you can give kudos and introduce yourself
Hi everyone!
My name is Sonja and I work at integer_net, a Magento focused agency based in Aachen, Germany.
My job here is to take care of everything that has to do with marketing, either for the agency itself, as a consultant for customers or for our very own online store.
I'm one of the organisers behind our local Magento meetup as well as MageUnconference in Germany.
This is my first time to attend Imagine and I'm very much looking forward to experience such an international Magento event. For me, that's also the first event organized by Magento Inc.
My attendance at Magento events started in 2014 when I helped organizing the Magento meetup in Hamburg, Germany. Since then my travels have expanded and now they cover quiet some ground in Europe: from Meet Magento Sweden up north to sunny MageTitans Italy, lovely MageUnconference Netherlands to impressive Meet Magento Romania.
When I'm not at my desk, you can often find me at ballroom dancing lessons, on my bike or hiding from Aachen's rainy weather, always with a novel at hand.
I'm looking forward to meet you all! In case you are interested in going to The Mob Museum in Las Vegas, let me know either here or via Twitter. I'm looking for some partners in crime.
The mob museum sounds interesting, thanks for the discovery! Another idea was to visit the shop frm the Pawn star TV show, my husband is a fan!
Looking forward to seeing you there @Gabriel Guarino @S_Franz and @ThienLan! π
I'll be there again!
I am visiting the Imagine for the third time after 2012 and 2016. It's always a great experience - I love to meet old friends and new people, exchange opinions and experiences, and simply have fun together. Besides Imagine, I have been speaker and participant at several Meet Magento events (DE, NL, PL, CH, NY), Developers Paradises and MageTitans (Milan and Manchester). I love travelling around, that's why we'll also do a three-day road trip before Imagine.
I am working with Magento since 2008, have been a freelancer and founded integer_net with three partners in 2012. We are a Magento (1 and 2) specialized agency, while having our own module business (mainly our Solr search module) and our own small Magento shop (the Spacecamper Shop). I am CEO and developer at the same time, and I love to do training and consulting from time to time.
Besides my Magento life, I also have a family with three kids of 6, 8 and 10 years and some other hobbies like cycling, reading and playing board and computer games.
Hi I'm Max Chadwick. I'm a developer at Something Digital. We're a Magento Enterprise Solution Partner based in New York City.
I'm looking forward to meeting many of the people I see on Twitter, Stack Exchange, etc... in the Magento community "IRL" at Imagine.
I was at Imagine in 2015. I've also presented at NomadMage and spoken at the New York Magento Meetup.
I spend a good amount of my time outside of work learning about new technologies (or existing technologies) and and writing about them on my blog. Outside of that I like spending time with my wife and kids, drinking good beer and eating good food, taking walks in the woods and watching movies. I have a musical background as well, but haven't been doing much with it these days...
Looking forward to seeing you there @mpchadwick and @avstudnitz!
