Complete set of files misssing

Hi,

I have downloaded Magento 2.2.2 & also 2.0.18 , I noticed that in  app/design/frontend there is Magento folder but that folder is empty same for /adminhtml also . Its successfully installed but  cant access anything , I have downloaded it from https://magento.com/tech-resources/download

   Downloaded tab . 

Please help me out ASAP. So that I can customize my magento 2.x site.

From Magento 2.1 onwards all the Magento modules directory are moved to Vendor/Magento folder. so app/design is empty - if you want to create custom theme you can created in app/design/VendorName/themename.

Also could you please post if its installed but can't access so what exact error are you facing while accessing magento 2 ?

Thank you for reply . I have upload full zip folder in my server & extracted it. But when I am tying to install magento its throwing me 500 Internal Server Error.

Can you please help me out ? Why its happen?

Make sure you have uploaded and extracted magento where you domain is pointed on server.

so that means like magento2 root directory needs to pointed when you hit the domain url.

so please confirm ? also try to run like - http://domainname.com/index.php/setup

I am trying to run installation process like this also http://www.myechoproject.com/bows/magento/index.php/setup but its again giving me same error.

okay can you confirm where you have puted magento all files ?

you have puted in bows/magento directory ?

seems like server issue - server doesn't allowed to execute this !!
