Need help installing Magento 2 on our test site

After weeks of trying to install M2 on our test site, I'm at the point that i starting to hate M2. In my naivety i thought that M2 would be easier then M1, that the system would be more

user friendly. But no. I think my hair is turned grey and I can't count the times i have felt the urge to slam my head against a wall.

Is there anyone that could help me to install M2 on our testsite?

Re: Need help installing Magento 2 on our test site

hello Manish,

Thank you for your reply.

I've tried to install it via the browser, everything went well, but i missed the theme files and all the js in the backend. Tried to reindex via ssh and all that.

Still missed all the theme files and js.

At the moment i've installed the GIT version that strange enough has the theme files. Well, now i got the "Vendor autoload is not found........" And as I understand i have to install it trough ssh.

And there i got stuck.  Ssh is not my strongest side, and "dos"-command is something i haven't used since... before Windows in the early 90's
