New store view, re-assign categories to every product required?

Hello,

I have a working website, and I have recently added a store-view to my main site, primarily for B2B but using the same product database and categories as the main B2C site.

However, I have run into an issue.  This is using Magento Community 1.7.

I have created a store view (call it wholesale), and I've made sure that both categories and products are assigned to the new store view.

However, none of the product show up in the categories, unless I go into the product -> categories and uncheck then re-check the category that it was already assigned too.

It seems as though I have to do this with EVERY product, to make it appear on the original B2C site, and the new B2B wholesale site.

Has anybody else run into this issue, and/or is there a fast way to re-process all categories for each and every product without having to manually click ?

Have you tried reindexing all and clearing your cache?

Goto System->Index Management and select all indexes and reindex

Goto System->Cache Management and Flush Cache

for some odd reason that didnt work the first time, but I didnt clear my cache. this time clearing the cache and physical folders and then re-indexing everything it seems to have worked.
