Hi all,
I hope at least this query will be answered in this forum.
Hi all, please share what and how ReCapcha does differently from Capcha from user and implementor perspective.
Both look the same to me.
Appreciate all your responses.
Thanks,
Rama,

Any online authentication test intended to distinguish between humans and computers is known as a CAPTCHA. Because a computer generates an authentication challenge that must be solved by a human, we frequently refer to CAPTCHAs as reverse Turing tests. ReCAPTCHA is Google's well known CAPTCHA product, which is used for basic bot prevention as well as other things. For instance, Google used photos from scanned books to aid with the digitization of The New York Times archives and books from Google Books using reCAPTCHA word tests.
If we differentiate both of them, simply, the purpose of a CAPTCHA is to distinguish between legitimate human users and automated bots. And ReCAPTCHA is a CAPTCHA mechanism Google created, and has released three versions of it till date.

Hi,
Still not clear.
Are Google ownership and bot prevention the only differences?
How do they react differently to users?
Thanks,
Rama.
Hey, sorry for the late reply. Yes, a Capthca is used to prevent bots and hackers entering your website. Several companies own different types of Captcha and ReCaptcha is owned by Google. Simply saying, CAPTCHA is a test designed to differentiate between real human users and malicious bots. ReCAPTCHA is a CAPTCHA system developed by Google.
