Hi Guys, I have a Magento Open Source 2.2.x under development currently, and I noticed that the support for 2.2.x branch is going to end soon. I have read from this thread (https://community.magento.com/t5/Magento-2-x-Version-Upgrades/End-of-Life-2-2-x/m-p/140259#M2273) and this official document (https://magento.com/sites/default/files/magento-open-source-software-maintenance-policy.pdf) that the end of life date should have passed already, but recently we are still getting the 2.2.10 update. May I know if there is a confirmed end of life date?
Hello @motive_power
You have got the point, but just to let you know Magento has already stopped 2.2 compatibility in extension submission to the Magento marketplace.
you can refer to the below link and i am sure you get the answers of every questions which you have in your mind.
https://community.magento.com/t5/Magento-2-x-Version-Upgrades/End-of-Life-2-2-x/m-p/140264#M2274
You also got suggestions there about what to do and when to do.
Thanks!
Thanks for your reply.
Maybe you have missed that but I have already included this link in my question in the first place. The reason why I still raised this question is that after reading through the answers in that thread, I am still not sure about the official end of life date as there are still updates like the recent 2.2.10 coming out. And as 2.2.10 now supports PHP7.2, should I expect there will still be more updates releasing in the future?
