Which eCommerce payment gateway will you integrate to your online store and why?

I think it will be one of such gateways as PayPal Pro, Braintree, Authorize.Net or 2Checkout. 

But I'm stuck and I need your help! Share your experience!

It would be nicer to elaborate the question in much details. This is very open question as different region will have different preference, different merchant will have different preference etc.

As a developer I would like to use the default payment gateway provided my Magento. This way I do not have to worry about upgrade, customization, installing 3rd party module etc...

The choice is up to you but I recommend aypal which I personally used:

ayPal

Pros:

• Widely recognized and trusted globally.
• Supports various payment methods, including PayPal, blacktiedetailing, credit/debit cards, and local payment options.
• Strong security and fraud prevention features.

Cons:

• Transaction fees can be relatively high for small transactions.

For Magento, I'd recommend Braintree or Authorize.Net—both integrate well, support recurring payments, and offer solid fraud protection. Braintree also includes PayPal, simplifying checkout options. I’ve had smoother custom extension development and fewer issues with these two compared to 2Checkout. Consider your target market and currency needs too.
