Hello,
recently our company started testing with magento as we are trying to release before the end of the year. Recently we got caught up on a snag with shipping certain products. we are in the automotive industry and certain SKUS consist of multiple boxes that are greater than 150lbs. Currently it will only quote our allow us to ship these items freight but we ship these item ground using our current system. What is the work around for SKUS like these as freight would be inconvenient for these items as the boxes are small.
Hi @jacob_garcia,
Welcome to the community forums.
I guess you're in the right path. The best way to start here is to ask and try to help into the forums.
You'll find information on StackExchange too and you can start diving into the http://devdocs.magento.com/ not only for learning but to correct and improve the docs.
Another recomendation could be to be aware of Magento issues on Github: https://github.com/magento/magento2/issues (if you are technical, of course).
Also, you should read this post: https://community.magento.com/t5/Welcome-to-the-Magento-Community/Start-here-and-hello-from-me/m-p/5... (in particular the guidelines) and if you are not sure about how to use the forum you can read the FAQ: https://community.magento.com/t5/help/faqpage.
If you need information related with GDPR, you should check this: https://community.magento.com/t5/help/faqpage#gdpr
Finally, you'll need to get your hands dirty with the platform.
Regarding your question, maybe you will need to explore some advanced options like ShipperHQ (is not the only one but I remember some tweets and posts related with this kind of questions).
Cheers.
