We want to be able to review which admins gave store credit at the end of the day in an easy, organized manner.   Can we put in a feature request, so that under:   system -> action logs -> reports [-> store credit] we would like to be able to produce a report that shows who added, subtracted, or spent store credit from the admin panel. it should be an option in these logs to see what admin takes the action of adding, removing, or changing store credit amount. ... Hello!   I'm deploying Magento for the first time.  Version CE 2.3.7 from package.  Added a bunch of plugins, most of which has been OK.  Just doing final integration testing now.   We use Gluu for Customer Identity Management.   Integrating Gluu with Magento has been a drama.  The Gluu code provided is all for Magento1.  We have it working now with help from a magento marketplace plugin.  But this doesn't really seem the sort of job a plugin is designed for (compared to other plugins I've installed).   I can't help think this feature would be better embedded in the core code.   Any chance customer identity outsourcing via OAuth 2 / OpenID Connect is a feature planned for a future release?  Either with or without SCIM support for replicating/editing customer profile data.   I've written my own integrations for our in-house applications, so I have: 1) test environments 2) a good knowledge of the transactions/protocols involved 3) lots of customer data 4) experience with working with open source development   What I don't have is: 1) php experience (I have some) 2) experience with Magento 2 source code   If someone is working on OAuth / OpenID authentication for customer identity management in Magento 2 - please reach out.    If you know that adding this to the core Magento2 code is a bad idea, please let me know why.   If you think adding this to the core Magento2 code is a good idea, please encourage me.   If there is a good place to start (adding this to the core code).   If I wanted to work on this, should I fork the 2.4-develop or 2.5-develop branch as the starting point? (I know the contributions guide says 2.4, but I'm wondering why there is a 2.5, and since this is probably not a minor change, or quick change, if targeting 2.5 is more sensible).  I can't find any mention of a planned release timeline for 2.5...   TIA! ... HTTPS has become quite the standard for the delivery of most content. Without delivering content through HTTPS users will experience "mixed content" browser errors and have content no be loaded correctly because its being blocked by modern web browsers. With that said; isn't it time for the Magento platform to come up with a cache system implementation that supports HTTPS and is recommended for us (Full Page Cache is "not recommended" per Magento documentation)?   Having to need two web servers (Apache + NGINX as a reverse proxy) and configure them to work with an HTTP-only cache system of Varnish is quite complicated and seems to me is overdue for an overhaul / new solution. ... We are using the magento 2.3.3 version with multiwebsite setup also we are using the MSI concept for inventory management. We came to following scenario where both websites are using same SKUs and handling for backorder is different on each website. Ex: website1 - Allow backorder website 2 - Not allow backorder Since by using MSI concept  the inventory can be handled at website level, it would be good to provide an option in core magento that backorder feature also can be handled at website level instead of global level.  Appreciate if you can pick this idea and provide a path or implement in future releases. We are integrated the Third-party Shipstation and SKU vault, to integrate this it's a very simple step like we need to create a backend user with administrator roles and use those credentials into the Shipstaion and SKU vault dashboard for configuration. We did the same steps but due to 2FA it's not working for us, then at-last we disable the 2FA, and it's working fine now.   Now the problem is as per Commerce cloud standard 2FA should be enabled for security reasons but due to this issue we are stuck, could you please help us with the solution to how could be connected Shipstation and SKU vault along with 2FA.   ... We used Magento Queue support extensively in our project, we even created a connector to use Amazon SQS instead of RabbitMQ (I intend to share it with the community soon).   During a process of improving the performance of our consumer jobs, I found that the native  message queue module uses MySQL to manage the lock of messages, which ends up competing with the IO of the other calls to the database. As we have a very high volume of messages processed per minute (+ 15k messages), the database ends up being unnecessarily overloaded with this native lock approach.   As Magento already provides native support for using ZooKeeper to control the locking of cronjobs processes, it would be very interesting if this feature were also made available to Message Queue, reducing the unnecessary usage of MySQL database.   ... Currently, any time you add a Customer Group to Magento, you have to manually go through any record that uses the 'Customer Groups' selector and select the newly created Customer Group. This includes Catalog Price Rules, Cart Price Rules, and many 3rd party extensions. We don't have a feature to apply coupon code when we proceed checkout with Multi Shipping Address. If customer forgot to apply coupon code on shopping cart page, he/she doesn't have provision to apply coupon code on multi shipping address checkout. The current buy one get one cart price rule does not allow for multiple skus, which seems very silly. If have you have a config sku with several simple skus that only vary by size, why would a customer want 2 of the same sizes? This was not the case on magento 1 open source.  ... View more

Hello,           We are stuck in using 3rd part blog modules and or integration of additional CMS such as Wordpress to use as blogging on website. I know allot of big companies have such issues as well and they stuck in using wordpress as blog together with magento 2 which is not good to use 2 different CMS solutions.   It will be best if you integrate internal blog solution that can be simple and easy to use, where we can add blog categories and content post to each category and can have option to add category into top menu to link to blog page.   I hope you will look into that solution to integrate, special in enterprise edition. ... Please make ionCube or SourceGuardian available on Magento Cloud for PHP 7.4.   We were trying to resolve this issue with partner commerce support in a ticket 354101, but Naga Harika Yarlagadda said ionCube is not supported for PHP 7.4 on Magento Cloud and recommended to create this feature request.   Jus FYI, ionCube officially supports PHP 7.4, so it seems like it is Magento Cloud not supporting it. ... Is there a way to change the customer name order (as in Lastname Firstname) globally in forms and display as well?
