On March 26, Magento plans to release Magento 2.3.1 delivering, security updates, developer updates, enhanced performance, and new features including Page Builder. We also plan to release updates for Magento  1,  2.1, and 2.2  on the same day.

In an effort to encourage customers to use supported versions of Magento, the Magento Marketplace is implementing a new policy for extensions, themes and shared packages compatible with versions of Magento that have reached the end of their support life.

Magento currently uses Google Image Charts to render static charts in Magento 1.x Admin dashboards. As of March 14, 2019, Google will stop supporting Google Image Charts. To resolve this issue, we are providing a patch to replace Google Image Charts with Image-Charts free service. Please see this article to update your M1 instances.

Magento’s implementation of the Authorize.Net Direct Post payment method currently uses MD5 based hash for all M1 and M2 installations. MSI and Inventory Management has a new 1.1.0 release with a new Distance Priority algorithm, ElasticSearch support for default and custom sources and stocks, and drastically enhanced performance. Read to learn more and see the release notes!

Magento plans to close all traffic from older Magento 1 instances via the Magento Connection Manager (MCM) on March 4th, 2019, for the domain connect.magentocommerce.com. M1 merchants on 1.9.X and 1.8.X are not affected. See the post for complete details!
